Short Bio:
I’ve lived in the Seattle area for nearly my whole life and love it. I was home schooled until I was 16, then I joined Running Start. From there, I attended Concordia University Irvine where I majored in History of Political Thought and competed on their debate team. Through various opportunities, I found a passion to help high school students navigate the often-confusing college search and I am honored to be even a small part of each student’s journey that God has them on.
Favorite Aspect of NU:
I love the community here at NU where you can just be walking on campus and run into a dozen friends. Specifically, the Christian mentality all students, staff, and faculty have is evident in the way we treat each other.
On my bookshelf:
To be honest, I’m not a huge reader, but that must mean these books I enjoy must be good. I would definitely recommend Ordinary by Michael Horton, The Genesis of Gender by Abigail Favale, and The Politics of Protest: Social Movements in America by David Meyer.
Favorite Food:
Sushi and pretty much any Asian food.
Favorite place in Seattle:
Technically outside of Seattle, but I love Whidbey Island. It’s so fun to take the ferry over there and explore the cute towns and shops on the island.
Favorite coffee/non-coffee order:
It depends on the season. Generally I like pumpkin spice lattes, blonde vanilla lattes, strawberry matcha, and pretty much anything with boba.
Favorite Holiday:
I love Christmas. Everything is cozy and cheery and it’s a great time to connect with friends and family.
Favorite Sport:
Not a huge sports fan, but I love making March Madness brackets for the fun of it.
What you might not know about me:
I’m originally from Savannah, Georgia, so sometimes I say southern sayings without realizing they’re southern things. With that, let me let y’all go.
