A Message from Rick Ryan, a Ðǿմ«Ã½ Parent
My name is Rick Ryan. I have two students at Ðǿմ«Ã½. Both of my children have experienced tremendous growth educationally, spiritually, emotionally, and developmentally at NU.
The university years are a crossroads of cultural, spiritual, and emotional personal development where our children move from depending on us to owning their own values, making their own decisions, and developing their own personal call for four major decisions of their early adult life. These decisions include:
- What their first 10 years will look like financially.
- What their strongest personal relationship will be.
- If they will marry or at least make a commitment to a marriage relationship.
- Where they will spend the next four years in terms of a place to live.
Ðǿմ«Ã½ prepares them to make decisions through developing an atmosphere of mentorship, critical thinking, relational bonding, and educational opportunities that are found at few other places. Plus, the atmosphere of spiritual growth allows for divine moments that launch divine movements. Ðǿմ«Ã½ is where giant ideas and thoughts are nurtured and given life. Tomorrow’s leaders and paradigm-shifters in medicine, business, missions, and church leadership are being discovered today at Northwest. Give your child the chance at Ðǿմ«Ã½ and they will change the world!
