2017 NU Mission Trips
Each summer, Ðǿմ«Ã½ offers opportunities for students to go on mission trips to countries across the globe. Over the years, our students have worked at camps, remodeled church buildings, and even facilitated soccer outreach programs!
The teams from this year’s trips are all beginning to return to the United States. Here are a few of the places NU students traveled to this summer and the different kinds of ministry each team participated in:
Italy
Outreach and evangelism, church service projects, sports camp with YWAM organization
Costa Rica
Working alongside Student International with children, schools, medical missions, and sports
Cambodia
Working with Hope for Justice in an aftercare facility for girls who have just been rescued from human trafficking
Thailand
Working with AGWM missionaries to build relationships with university students and helping to run English-language conversation clubs
Ethiopia
Joining Adventures in Missions to do relational and sports ministry with children and families in local villages
Indonesia
Working with International English Services (IES) church on service projects and at a large teen outreach camp
Burkina Faso
Serving with Walk in the Light International outside of the capital city to build relationships with the villagers, including ministry with children
Mission trips are just one way that NU students deepen their faith and impact the world. We’re thankful for the experiences our students get to have and the ways that God uses them.
