Position Summary
Seek out, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity. Interacts with end users and provides analytical solutions to resolve technical issues. This position will initially focus on two Salesforce Instances that are used for Recruitment, Ðǿմ«Ã½, Alumni and Fundraising efforts, but will scale to cover other business systems as and when needed. To effectively ensure that personnel have the right information to seamlessly carry out their work, the position requires a high degree of clear communication, organizational skill, and collaborative partnership in guiding the development of operations supporting educators with an emphasis on student centric service with IT developers, business owners, and end users. This position is .8 FTE/32 hours a week job with benefits.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for review and evaluation of recruitment, admissions, enrollment, alumni, church relations and fundraising functions to determine best practice.
- Serve as a thought leader developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels.
- Monitor existing software product, Salesforce, Causeview and TargetX, and make suggestions to management on how to improve functionality.
- Research progressive systems solutions, develop and manage initiatives for improvement.
- Leads implementation of upgrades maximizing use, which includes participating in the testing process to evaluate changes.
- Manage new enhancement requests.
- Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability.
- Serves as the primary trainer for all Salesforce users. Develop training curriculum, distribute supporting documentation, and provide ongoing training sessions.
- Maintain records and test results.
- Supervise CRM Developer.
- Contribute to university committees and task force groups to achieve goals, reform software systems and processes, and achieve best practices for utilizing the CRM.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Salesforce.
- Salesforce Certification.
- Understanding of data integration.
- Experience with configuring and implementing Salesforce solutions.
- Ability to work on multiple complete projects with various stakeholders.
- Proven analytical abilities, including development of innovative and impactful systems solutions.
- Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrate commitment to maintaining a safe work environment free of harassment, violence, and unlawful discrimination.
Working Environment
- Position works with strictly confidential information.
- Frequently required to be in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.
- Fast-pace environment requiring quick response to email, phone calls, and data requests
Physical Demands
- Position involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to convey detailed or important spoken instructions or information.
Compensation
Based on education and experience, the position has a hiring range of $63,000/year to $65,000/year plus excellent benefits.
