Ciara is passionate about meeting people where they are in life. With empathy, compassion, and warmth, Ciara loves learning about people, their backgrounds, and their culture and how it impacts their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Ciara has worked with children and adolescents since she was thirteen and is passionate about their growth journey. After graduating from Ðǿմ«Ã½ with her bachelor’s degree in 2022, she worked with adolescents and young adults in an inpatient facility to provide safety and support to them through their mental health journey. Ciara is open to working with all ages and is excited to help all people as they move through their journeys in life.
Education
Ciara has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ðǿմ«Ã½ with a concentration in Culture and Counseling. Currently, she is in her third year at Ðǿմ«Ã½ as she pursues a doctorate in Psychology with a graduation anticipated in May of 2027. She receives regular supervision from licensed psychologists while at NUhope.
Special Interests
When not in school, Ciara enjoys paddleboarding, longboarding, snowboarding, reading, traveling, being creative and learning different languages. The Kirkland waterfront is her favorite place to watch sunsets and eat ice cream. Ciara also is a proud owner of a husky/German shepherd mix and is often finding ways to keep up with his energy.
