Dan endeavors to help people find their inner strength and move towards meaningful change in their life. He believes this is achieved through collaborative work, introspection, and cultivating healthy relationships. Therapy is an incredibly courageous undertaking, and this journey is well worth the effort.
He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington state. He completed a year-long externship at Swedish Cancer Institute in Seattle providing mental health care and support for patients undergoing active cancer treatment. Dan also has experience working with families and couples along with depression, anxiety, chronic illness, ADHD, Autism, and grief.
Education
Dan has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Washington University. He also has a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialization in Medical Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology at Ðǿմ«Ã½, anticipating graduation in May 2027. He regularly consults with licensed psychologist supervisors for guidance and feedback.
Special Interests
Dan is a fan of sci-fi movies, football, and classic rock. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family and getting outside as much as he can. He is also fond of running, rock climbing, and going to the gym regularly.
