Jason believes in helping people develop resilience to life's challenges, providing guidance to find direction, and learning how to develop meaningful relationships in the world around them. Additionally, he prioritizes taking a collaborative approach toward therapy, believing that each therapeutic relationship must be tailor-fit to the person he is working with. Building and maintaining relationships with peers and mentors in the field of counseling and mental health have helped him grow as a clinician. Jason is passionate about building up others and serving the community to create a better future.
Education
Jason has a Bachelor of Science in Counseling and Sociology from Grace College and Theological Seminary. After graduating with an Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018, Jason moved to Washington to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He began pursuing a Doctor of Psychology at Ðǿմ«Ã½ in the fall of 2020 and anticipates graduating in May 2026. Jason regularly consults with licensed psychologist supervisors and peers for guidance and feedback.
Special Interests
Jason enjoys spending time with close friends and family whenever he gets the chance. He is an automotive enthusiast who likes to tinker with his own cars in his spare time. He also enjoys treating his sweet tooth while watching sci-fi and fantasy films or shows.
