Passionate about serving communities, Kathy strives to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences within the context of their cultural identity. As a bilingual and bicultural Latina, Kathy recognizes the importance of cultural sensitivity and understanding in therapy. She understands the nuances of navigating multiple cultural identities, allowing her to connect with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and create a therapeutic environment that honors their unique experiences and perspectives.
Education
Kathy graduated from Ðǿմ«Ã½ with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Counseling Psychology at NU, expected to graduate in May 2027. Kathy regularly consults with licensed psychologist supervisors and peers for guidance and feedback.
Special Interests
Kathy enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She also likes to cook, watch movies, and to maintain balance and well-being, prioritizes staying active.
