Rachel strives for a collaborative relationship in a warm and empathetic space where clients can process and work through their challenges. Together, they can discover the strength-based skills already inside the client and work together to use them for accomplishing therapeutic goals.
Rachel is passionate about guiding clients, especially college students, who are struggling with adjusting to all different roles and life responsibilities. Through empathy, each client can feel confident facing challenges and processing adjustments with positive coping and warm support.
Education
In 2022, Rachel graduated from the University of Washington Seattle (UW), where she graduated with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Directly after UW, Rachel began the Doctor of Psychology in Counseling Psychology program at Ðǿմ«Ã½. In July of 2024, Rachel was awarded her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. Currently in her third year, she expects to graduate in 2027 with her doctorate in Psychology. Rachel is under supervision of the licensed psychologists at NUhope.
Special Interests
When not in the office or classroom, Rachel is most likely out exploring God's beautiful nature in Washington state with her husband. If she cannot seem to be found, chances are she is curled up in seclusion reading a good book or trying to practice self-care.
