Whitney strives to provide a warm, safe, and judgment-free space for clients to share their stories and become their best selves through counseling. Whitney uses a person-centered approach to draw out each person's strengths and address challenges in a holistic manner. Whitney uses a blend of therapeutic modalities and theoretical orientations to help clients work through concerns in a way that feels most authentic to them. She has experience treating a variety of mental and emotional problems, as well as specialized experience with gender and sexual identity concerns and sexual behavior issues.
Education
Whitney graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice from Pacific Lutheran University in 2019. After that, she earned her master's degree in Criminal Justice with a focus in Forensic Psychology from Liberty University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Counseling Psychology degree at Ðǿմ«Ã½ and will graduate in 2027. She is supervised by several licensed psychologists at NUhope.
Special Interests
Outside of work and school, Whitney enjoys spending quality time with close friends and family. Whitney loves the hygge lifestyle and having cozy nights in. She also enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, and antiquing.
