Charting the Future: Dennis Davis
As we finish celebrating our 90th year, we’re happy to share with you this testimony from Denny Davis, our fourth president. Coming to campus in 1990 after serving as chair of our board, Denny fully embraced the mission of our development into a comprehensive college, adding our first majors outside of the traditional fields of church ministry. Northwest College flourished under his eight years of leadership.
Northwest has had some great preachers through the years, but Denny may be the most eloquent of all of them. His intelligence, charisma, and good humor have delighted audiences for about 90 years! He enjoyed remarkable success as a pastor before coming to Northwest.
In recent years, Denny led his congregation in Palm Desert, California, to establish a very well-funded scholarship to bless students in the College of Ministry. That account has grown to over $300,000 and will make a difference in the lives of young ministers until Jesus comes!
