Charting the Future: Grace Seyoum
The semester has reached “full swing” now and the campus buzzes daily with activity and enthusiasm. Monday night saw the return of Pursuit, where students embraced a new year of prayer and praise meetings with great excitement and eager entry into God’s presence. This year promises to build on last year’s spiritual intensity.
Last week, I had a meeting with leaders of a secular organization we partner with, and they went on and on about the “special atmosphere” they experience on campus. Our students really stand out for their kindness and wonderful manners toward each other and toward visitors on the campus. Students who choose Ðǿմ«Ã½ stand out among their peers. I always comment that I feel very good about the leaders of the future because of what I see in our students.
In today’s video, you will hear a testimony from Grace Seyoum, who spoke at last semester’s President’s Banquet. She is a top student, without a doubt, but she represents her peers accurately—all of whom have a story about how God led them to Northwest and how their experience here has prepared them for their future leadership. Grace spent last summer in Washington, D.C., working in a Senator’s office. She represented us with excellence and had life-changing experiences. I know you’ll enjoy her story.
Thanks for following us and for your prayers and other participation at Ðǿմ«Ã½.
