Charting the Future: Kevin Geer
As we chart the future at Northwest, we do so from a position deeply rooted in the past. I always say that to lead an institution, you have to be able to tell the origin story. When I came to NU almost 16 years ago, I took time to study the founding families and their multigenerational story at Northwest. Those families and others continue to remind us that we have a historic mission to steward in our plans for the future, and alumnus Kevin Geer offers a sterling example of how families parlay a heritage at Northwest into a legacy for the future.
Kevin serves as pastor of Canvas Church in Kalispell, Montana—one of the fastest growing churches in the country. The church has flourished by its evangelistic passion, bringing hundreds of new believers into the Kingdom of God since Kevin took the reins as pastor. Not only do they reach the lost at Canvas Church, they have joined with us in training ministers to keep the mission of God strong in the future. About a hundred Ðǿմ«Ã½ students pursue their ministry degrees full-time on the campus of Canvas Church, one of our Northwest Partnership Program (NPP) locations.
Take time to listen to his testimony of what Ðǿմ«Ã½ has meant to his family and how it continues to shape him as a minister and evangelist who is creating a future for hundreds of families today.
