The Pecota Student Center is exactly that – a centrally located hub for students! Whether students are studying in between classes, hanging out with friends, this is a fun place to be. This is also NU’s commuter lounge for community, learning, and a nice area to enjoy lunch. And the perfect place to host meetings for clubs and organizations like Black Student Fellowship’s kickbacks, SAB’s Unwinds, International Club’s origami night, and so much more.
Next to the lobby are the offices for Student Development and Campus Ministry. On the first day of Orientation, students are introduced to great people to emphasize and customize the student experience. They meet with students and offer the support through various programs such as spiritual life, housing, multicultural life, student involvement through events and clubs. And they offer leadership scholarships for up to a quarter of a million dollars for student leaders every year.
