Who Can Apply to the Northwest Partnership Program?

- Student must confirm they are authorized to study under one of these categories, and email written notice to NPPÐǿմ«Ã½@northwestu.edu.
- NPP partners do not need to collect any immigration documents.
Common Visa Holders that cannot study at an NPP:
- B-1, B-2 visitor visas
- F-1 visa
English Language Proficiency
Students whose native language is not English must submit an English language proficiency score taken no more than two years prior to application to the university. Students must submit one of these scores:
- TOEFL internet-based (iBT) score of 80.
- IELTS score of 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.0 in each band).
- SAT 450 in critical writing or reading.
- ACT 18 in writing.
- Duolingo English Test score of 105.
- Completion of 30+ semester credits at a college/university accredited by an organization that is a member of the Council of Regional Accrediting Commissions (C-RAC) in the U.S. with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Foreign Degree Requirements
Any college or university transcript which is submitted from a school located outside of the U.S. and Canada must be supplemented by an official evaluation of the transcript for U.S. degree equivalency and GPA, performed by an institution approved by NACES (.) Course-by-course evaluations are not required unless the program you are applying to has prerequisite courses or transfer credit is requested. For more information, please consult the enrollment counselor for the program to which you are applying.
Finances
Students must pay their semester balance in full prior to starting courses.
Northwest Partnership Program
The NPP program is an online-based program. Overseas students may choose to travel to your NPP location and participate in your internship program, but their participation in your program is not a Ðǿմ«Ã½ requirement.
